GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS SPOTLIGHT: CHARLIE DENT

Former Congressman Charlie Dent will speak at the Government Affairs Council meeting on November 11. Dent served seven terms in the U.S. House of Representatives representing Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District, where he was a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee. He also chaired the Congressional Cement Caucus and represented a district that included four cement plants, giving him firsthand familiarity with the industry and the policy issues affecting cement manufacturers. Today, Dent serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at DLA Piper and a political analyst, bringing extensive experience and perspective on federal policy, infrastructure, energy, trade, and the legislative landscape.
