Tahir Abbas has been working as a Managing Director of Cinar Ltd since 1996, a London based technical consultancy dealing with combustion and emissions reductions - with branch offices in Brazil and Greece. Cinar has provided solutions to combustion related problems during last 36 years.

Tahir has acted on various examination committees, research proposal evaluation panels for the European Union (EC), organizing committees of international conferences, technical paper review panels. He has authored and co-authored over 200 papers.

2nd Edition and Cement Plant Environmental Handbook and 2nd Edition, International Cement Review, 2014.

Tahir has attended and contributed to several IEEE-PCA conferences through presentations, papers and training/technical workshops during the last 20 years, Tahir likes to play squash and has a keen interest in history.
