Caroline holds a degree in Mineral Processing and earned her PhD (Dr.-Ing.) in comminution and grinding from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. She began her career between 1998 and 2002 as a Process and Quality Control Manager for medium-sized companies operating cement grinding plants in Germany and Poland.

From 2004 to 2011, she served as a Product Manager for grinding products at two German OEMs, further strengthening her technical and commercial expertise. For more than 14 years, Caroline has been with Gebr. Pfeiffer SE, where she serves as Director of Process Technology. In this role, she is responsible for process technology and development, pilot plants, and material characterization, while also supporting projects, sales, and plant optimization efforts. In November 2024, she was additionally appointed Managing Director of Gebr. Pfeiffer Mining, alongside her continued leadership within the Pfeiffer Group.

Caroline brings extensive cross-industry knowledge spanning cement, lime, and gypsum, with deep expertise in the design and application of vertical roller mills (VRMs). She has authored and presented numerous papers on comminution and grinding circuits involving VRM technology. With nearly three decades of industrial experience, she is a recognized expert in her field.
